Why: Free cash flow cannot be used (negative or far below earnings, with too little history to normalise it), so value is based on reinvestment-adjusted earnings.

The range depends on model assumptions and data; it is not a prediction or investment advice.

EV/Sales (Rule of 40)

Market price below modeled range

Showing the EV/Sales (Rule of 40) you selected on the company card, using 3.03% growth, 2.4% terminal growth and 9.2% discount. The range varies these assumptions slightly; it is illustrative, not investment advice. Low confidence: the modelled value is far from the market price, which usually means the model does not capture this company well (for example expected growth well above its history).

Assumptions: growth 3.03%, discount rate 9.20%, terminal growth 2.40% (sector defaults). See a worked example.

Blended growth assumption: 3.0% (sector default 5.3%, own revenue history 2.0%, analyst revenue consensus 2.4%).

5-year outlook: relative outlook of about 8.5% a year (Medium confidence), anchored to a 7% market return and adjusted for how this company ranks against others. A ranking aid, not a prediction. See the full forecast.

Analyst consensus expects revenue growth of 2.4% a year; the growth assumption used is 3.0%.

Why this model: Free cash flow cannot be used (negative or far below earnings, with too little history to normalise it), so value is based on reinvestment-adjusted earnings.

  • Recommended: Earnings-based DCF — EUR 27.54 (-19.5%)
  • EPS-based Gordon proxy — EUR 38.29 (+11.9%)
Not used: Treats all earnings as if paid out and ignores the cash kept for reinvestment, so it overstates value for companies that retain most profit.
  • DCF (trailing free cash flow) — EUR 69.70 (+103.7%)
Not used: Free cash flow is 2.1x net income, which usually means costs such as lease payments sit outside operating cash flow, so it may be overstated.
  • FCFF (steady state) — EUR 67.47 (+97.2%)
Not used: Free cash flow is 2.1x net income, which usually means costs such as lease payments sit outside operating cash flow, so it may be overstated.
  • EV/EBITDA (12x) — EUR 83.58 (+144.3%)
Not used: Used only when free cash flow is far below earnings even after averaging three years; a fixed 12x multiple also ignores sector differences.
  • Fade DCF (10-year growth fade) — EUR 69.62 (+103.4%)
Not used: Free cash flow is 2.1x net income, which usually means costs such as lease payments sit outside operating cash flow, so it may be overstated.
  • EV/Sales (Rule of 40) — EUR 211.31 (+517.5%)
Not used: Used only for technology and communication companies whose cash-flow value is far below the price.

Margin = (value − price) / value, so it is measured against the value and reads lower than the upside to value, which is measured against the price. Positive means the price is below that case.
